The Official Thread of Political Discussion! (PLEASE READ!)

Ok everyone, I am going to try something here. The political threads are really getting on some peoples nerves. I made note of it yesterday, but sure enough, it was easily forgotten and ignored by today. I understand that this is a heated time, and that it is a big topic of discussion at this time. We don't want to have to ban all political discussion, but if the multiple threads, and pot shots, and name calling persist, this is what we will be forced to do.

We do not want to have to censor this site too much, and don't want to turn this into a white board. But we do not allow flame wars, and attacks, which is what these threads often turn into.

So, what I am going to do, is make this thread the Official Political Discussion Thread. Please read the following carefully....

- ALL political posts MUST be posted in this thread. Any other individual threads will be deleted.

- Treat your fellow posters with respect. NO name calling, or pot shots will be allowed, and if you do so, your post will be deleted. If you continue to disrespect people, you will be considered for banning.

- NO exceptions, I don't care who you are, or what your excuse is.

I do not think this is unreasonable. You should be able to talk and debate politics maturely. If you can't, then it is a subject you probably shouldn't be talking about anyway. If you don't like these terms, then go talk politics elsewhere. If you don't want to read about politics, don't enter this thread.

All existing political threads will be locked at the posting of this thread.

Just one day after the election and we're all fighting like pimps over a star hooker. Jay-z and R. Kelly over Beyonce's huge ass. But I digress....

First up, I've maxed out my Lib baiting, if you want to call it that. The fun is over. If I hurt-ed anybody, I do apologize. It's no good if bad blood is spilled. It kinda diverts from the purpose of the board. I like you peoples, including Jor and DA <heh>, and I'm hoping that disagreement over political shit isn't a potential peg to that which we have already established: a sarcastic and often biting relationship based on farce, aka fun.

So in conclusion, I'll be the first to shut the fuck up and concede to the Canadians. They have free healthcare.
